Antiparos town & historical attractions

The Chora, or main town, of Antiparos is a picturesque and lively hub that embodies the essence of Cycladic beauty. The town features a single pedestrian street lined with charming shops, cozy cafés, traditional tavernas, and iconic whitewashed houses with blue accents. Adding to its charm, vibrant fuchsia bougainvillea drapes over balconies, creating a postcard-perfect setting typical of the Greek islands. Visitors can wander through the narrow alleys, capture stunning photos, indulge in authentic Greek cuisine, or relax with a coffee or cocktail at one of the many inviting spots.

Antiparos Town & Port

Antiparos has several unique historical landmarks and attractions, such as the Cave of Antiparos featuring some of Europe's oldest stalagmites (45 million years old) or the historic Venetian Castle of Antiparos, also known as Kastro, which was built in the 15th century by the Venetians, located in the heart of Antiparos Town. Soon you will also be able to visit the ancient Sanctuary of Apollo on Despotiko, an uninhabited island located just across the Bay of St. George in the south of the Antiparos - currently restoration works are still in progress so the site is not open to the public.
