Antiparos Beaches

True to its understated and laid back character, Antiparos has several great beaches - it just doesn’t make a fuss about it.

You will find beaches all sorts, from the secluded and solitary to the social and stylish. Here is an overview of some of our favorites that we like to recommend - both organised and public.

Beach House (Organised) - Recently having undergone a change in management, Beach House offers a laid-back yet sophisticated experience - featuring an up-scale seafood restaurant by none other than the team behind the renowned Athenian restaurant Cookoovaya. You will also find an all-day beach bar with a variety of drinks and snacks that you can enjoy under the shade. The price for the sun-beds is on the higher end but worth it if you plan to spend the whole day by the beach.

Agios Georgios (Organised) - Just across from the Sanctuary of Apollo on the west end of the Bay of St. George, you will find a serviced beach with umbrellas and sun-beds at affordable rates. You can order coffee, drinks and snacks that are delivered from the nearby Despotiko Cafe. A great place to spend the day with family and friends - you can also rent a kayak to do some exploring.

Mikro Soros (Public) - One cove down from the popular Soros beach, you will find the lesser known secluded patch by the name of mikro Soros, or small Soros. Instead of sand, you will find fine gravel with crystal clear water. We recommend you visit on days when the winds are not too strong - a beautiful place to enjoy an early morning dip.

Faneromeni & Sostis (Public) - Off the beaten track, at the end of the dirt road of the southern peninsula, you will find two serene beaches. Azure waters surrounded by lava rock formations - a hotspot amongst seasoned visitors. Bring plenty of water and your umbrella as shade is a scarce resource.
